The Ambassador Presented The Credential To The Emir

  H.E. Mr. Zhang Zhiliang, the ambassador of the People's Republic of China, presented the credential to H.H. the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani at the Emiri Diwan on January 23rd, 2011. 

 

  The ambassador conveyed to the Emir the greetings of President Hu Jintao and wish for further progress and welfare to the Qatari people, as well as his verbal response to Emir's letter which forwarded by the Deputy Prime Minister, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah during his visit to China in early this month .

 

  The Emir welcomed the ambassador and wished him success in his new assignment and further development of relations between Qatar and their countries. The Emir also thanked President Hu Jintao for prompt reply.


  Before presenting his credential, the new ambassador was accorded an official reception at the Emiri Diwan. HE the Chairman of the Emiri Diwan and the Deputy Prime Minister, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, attended the credential presentation ceremony.
