AGREEMENT ON MUTUAL VISA EXEMPTION BETWEEN CHINA AND QATAR WILL ENTER INTO FORCE ON 21ST DECEMBER 2018

The Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the State of Qatar on Mutual Visa Exemption has been signed on 9th  July 2018 in Beijing, China. It will enter into force on 21st  December 2018For the moment, Citizens of Qatar wishing to enter the territory of China still need to apply for a visa in advance according to current regulations.

According to the agreement, Citizens of Qatar holding valid diplomatic, special, service, ordinary passports issued by Qatar may enter and stay without a visa in the territory of China for a period of less than thirty (30) days. Citizens of Qatar wishing to enter the territory of China for a period of more than thirty (30) days or to work, study, reside or make news reports, shall apply for an in advance visa in accordance with the Chinese national laws.
