To further facilitate visa applicants, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Qatar will exempt all applicants for short-term visas with a stay period of within 180 days from fingerprint collection, starting from now until December 31, 2026.

For applicants of Type D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 and Z visas, who are required to apply for a residence permit after entering China, fingerprint collection shall still be carried out in accordance with the regulations.
