On June 30, the Embassy of China in Qatar hosted a reception to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Cao Xiaolin, Ambassador of China to Qatar, H.E. Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al Kuwari, Minister of State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhro, Director of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior Qatari government officials, representatives from the business, education, cultural, military and media sectors, heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations in Qatar, as well as representatives of Chinese enterprises, the overseas Chinese community and Chinese students in Qatar.

Ambassador Cao Xiaolin delivered remarks at the reception, reviewing the glorious journey of the Communist Party of China over the past 105 years and highlighting the historic achievements and transformative progress China has made under the Party’s leadership since socialism with Chinese characteristics entered the new era. He noted that China has made remarkable accomplishments in economic development, scientific and technological innovation, social progress and diplomacy. He emphasized that both history and reality have fully demonstrated that the key to China’s success lies in the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, and that it is imperative to uphold the strong leadership of the Party.

Ambassador Cao Xiaolin stressed that the Communist Party of China has always viewed China’s development in the context of the common development of the world, and has been consistently striving to contribute to the development of all countries while pursuing China’s own progress. China is ready to work with Qatar to further deepen strategic mutual trust, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance people-to-people exchange, strengthen collaboration in global governance, and jointly build a brighter future for China-Qatar relations.

The reception was held in a warm, friendly and festive atmosphere. Guests extended their congratulations on the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and expressed their confidence that China-Qatar relations will continue to achieve new progress to deliver greater benefits to the two peoples.
